Education Product Development Committee
Volunteers on this committee will assist with the development of new CCI products and educational offerings.
- Average time commitment is 10 - 20 hrs over a 3-week period.
- May earn 10 - 40 points towards recertification depending on the activity.

Test Development Committee
Participants on this committee will assist with the development of CCI's credentialing exams.
- Time commitment and occurrence vary by committee, from remote conference calls lasting 3 hours to multiple in-person meetings.
- Must hold an active or Emeritus CCI credential.
- May earn 15 - 50 points toward recertification depending on the activity.

Board of Directors
Board members partner with CCI leadership in the development of policies and strategies to advance the perioperative profession.
- Term commitment of 3 years with 3 in-person meetings per year and 6 - 8 hours of independent work per month.
- Must hold an active CCI credential and be employed in perioperative practice (clinical, educator, consultant, etc.).
- Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing.
- Must have previous leadership experience and previous volunteer service with CCI on a committee or task force.
- Required competencies: foundational thinking, communication, decision making, collaboration, analytical skills.
