How can I import AORN CE into my CCI account?

If you imported your AORN CE into your CCI account prior to December 11, your records have been restored. If you did not import your AORN CE prior to December 11, the ability to auto-import from your AORN account to your CCI account is currently unavailable.

We have established an easy process to submit any AORN CE you may not have imported. In lieu of uploading each individual CE record, CCI will accept a summary of all AORN CE you are submitting for recertification. Simply login to your CCI account and access your CNOR recertification application. On your “CNOR Continuing Education” page, add a record and upload the summary of your AORN CE. You may enter the total amount of CE as shown in the summary you provide. You do not have to enter a separate record for each CE you are submitting.

To obtain a summary of your CE earned from AORN, follow these steps.

1. Login to your AORN account and click on the “My AORN” link at the top of the page
2. Click on “View Contact Hour History”
3. Select the date range for the CE you would like to submit, and click “Filter”
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “View Full Transcript”
5. Once the page displays your CE, copy and paste the transcript records into a Word document or PDF and save the file. You will upload this file into your CCI account.

Can I upload new CE / Points documentation into my account?

Yes. If you previously experienced any issues uploading new CE or Points documentation into your CCI account, that issue has been resolved.

My recertification application indicates I have met 100% of my recertification requirements. Do I need to upload additional documentation?

No. If your “CNOR Continuing Education” page in the recertification application indicates you have met 100% of your recertification requirements, there is no need to upload CE or Points documentation on this page. Verify your nursing license and work experience are up to date, and proceed to payment.

What should I do if the system will not allow me to make a payment and submit my application?

If you previously encountered an issue with payment, the issue has been resolved. If you have attempted payment on or after December 23 and are still encountering issues, please email us at info@cc-institute.org and we will assist. Please include specific information about the issue you are experiencing.
